Chairman of Attiko Metro S.A. (2016–2019).
Member of the Central Committee of SYRIZA–Progressive Alliance (2022–present).
Regional Councilor and Head of the political group Allagi stin Perifereia K. Makedonias (2023–present).

He has published extensively in international peer-reviewed journals and conferences in the field of Sustainable Development and Environmental Engineering. He is also a regular contributor to the website TVXS.

Author of six books: Back–Right? (2006), Education of Battles (2010), The “Ifs” of Development (2015), Metro–Das: The History of Thessaloniki (2018), Metro and Antiquities (2021), and Crime at Tempi (2025).
