Furthermore, it solidifies his strong ties to Nicos Poulantzas and to his body of work, within the framework of a shared Marxist theoretical tradition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In an international conjuncture marked by wars, widespread violence, insecurity, and the rise of authoritarian governments, on the one hand, and the intensifying class struggles on the other, this collaboration takes on a particular significance in view of the fight for Equaliberty (equality-freedom) and the pursuit of contemporary emancipatory responses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In accepting this invitation, \u00c9tienne Balibar stressed that the memory and the legacy of Nicos Poulantzas\u2019 thinking are for him of fundamental importance. Elle vient par ailleurs sceller ses liens \u00e9troits avec Nicos Poulantzas et son \u0153uvre, dans le cadre d\u2019une tradition th\u00e9orique marxiste commune.<br>Dans un contexte international marqu\u00e9 par les guerres, la violence g\u00e9n\u00e9ralis\u00e9e, l&#8217;ins\u00e9curit\u00e9, la mont\u00e9e des gouvernements autoritaires et, parall\u00e8lement, par une intensification porteuse d\u2019espoir des luttes de classe, cette collaboration rev\u00eat une importance particuli\u00e8re pour la d\u00e9fense de l\u2019\u00e9galibert\u00e9 et la recherche de r\u00e9ponses \u00e9mancipatrices adapt\u00e9es aux enjeux contemporains<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En acceptant cette invitation, \u00c9tienne Balibar a soulign\u00e9 que la m\u00e9moire et l\u2019empreinte de la pens\u00e9e de Nicos Poulantzas restaient pour lui une r\u00e9f\u00e9rence fondamentale.
